
Durham settles for a tie in Wingham
The Durham Bantam Reps were lucky to walk away with a tie in Wingham on Sat night. After Durham took a four nothing lead with goals by Justin Graham 3 and Scott Hopkins 1 assisted by Andrew Callahan and Derek Kaufman, Wingham then scored 5 in a row to take the lead. Kaufman tied it up and Hopkins got the go ahead goal then with 22 secs left Wigham scored a powerplay goal to end the game in a tie. Trainer Mary Pillisch had to leave the game early in the 1st after getting hit with the puck on a Durham clearing attempt. She returned in the 3rd with a few stitches and was teased she will now have her hockey face on when she meets THE GREAT ONE on Monday.
