The Bantam Huskies travelled to Listowel last night and pulled out a win, 4-3.

A tight game against Listowel, our Huskies netted one in the 1st period, the goal was scored by Anthony Dixon and assisted by Chris Weaver. Listowel answers back when they score their first of the period by Chris Dippel, assisted by Radney Pritchard and Tyson Brocklebank.Tied at 1 when Listowel opens up the scoring in the 2nd with a goal from Nic Mathers, assisted by Brocklebank and Nicholas VanDam. Durham responds a minute and a half later with a goal from John Wells, assisted by Joel Thompson and the 2nd period is tied at 2. Tempers were shorter in the 3rd and both teams spent a bit of time in the penalty box; however, Durham would settle in after Listowel takes the lead with a goal from Nic Mathers assisted by Justine Brotherston to make it 3-2 for Listowel. Two unanswered goals from Durham seals their victory when Cole Hollands and Ben Dow each get singles while assists go to Tyler MacDonald, Hollands, Dow and McKenzie Wright. Spencer Bristow played a good game between the pipes to keep Durham in the lead and the final is 4-3.
