Novice LL Goes 6-1 with 2 shutouts
Durham Novice LL is playing strong this season with five wins out of six games to date.
Huskie Day in Durham was a very successful with a shut out by Seth Lawrence against Walkerton ending with a score of 4-0. Goals scored by Kurtis Watson, Darcy Hooper (2) and Nick Kilpatrick.
November 8th was our first loss of the season. The game was in Harriston with a score of 6-3, goals scored by Owen Schenk and Ty Heipel (2).
November 12th was a win in Walkerton with a score of 6-2, goals scored by Kurtis Watson (2), Christopher Graham (2), Michael Schipprack and Ty Heipel.
November 15th ended in another shut out in Mount Forest by goaltender Seth Lawrence with a score of 6-0. Goals by Jordon Ferrier (2), Kurtis Watson, Jacob Sullivan, Nick Kilpatrick and Brady Parrott with his body in the net.
Last weekend was a home game against Drayton ending with an 8-2 score for Durham. Awesome goaltending once again by Seth Lawrence and a great game played by the rest of the team. Hat trick for Ty Heipel, Jacob Sullivan(2), Kurtis Watson, Jordon Ferrier and Christopher Graham were the scorers for the day. Assists went to Darcy Hooper, Owen Schenk, Michael Schipprack, Nick Kilpatrick, Brady Parrott, KC Cherry and Mitchell Kraus. First player penalty of the season goes to Michael Schipprack, keep your stick outta there! Keep up the great effort team!
